Read this first. Everything below is drawn from what Century Games itself publishes in English — the Lordrush on Google Play (English listing) and the Lordrush official site. We have not played the English client. So you will find no "upgrade this at level 14" numbers here: we do not print figures we have not checked, and the publisher has not printed these ones either.
The genre matters more than it sounds. Google Play files Lordrush under Strategy and Tower defense, and the publisher's own line is that it is a medieval tower defense strategy game where you rebuild a ruined fortress. Read that as a promise about the early game — the later game is an alliance war game, and English reviewers say so loudly. There is a separate page on that: is Lordrush just Kingshot in armour?
1. Resources come before everything
Wood, stone and iron are what expansion runs on, and the publisher describes you competing for control of them against outlaws and rebels rather than gathering in peace. The practical version for your first days is dull and correct: never leave a gathering queue empty.
2. Walls buy time, towers do damage
The listing separates the two jobs deliberately — you build defensive walls and you upgrade towers. The wall's job is to slow the attack; the tower's job is to spend that time hurting it. Which means levelling one and neglecting the other wastes both. Treat them as a pair.
3. Sieges arrive in waves, and the answer changes per wave
The publisher's framing is defending against waves of siege attacks, adjusting to the attackers' route and strength. That phrasing rules out set-and-forget: a layout that held the last wave is not automatically the layout for the next one.
4. Heroes — and why there is no tier list on this page
You recruit medieval heroes with different abilities and place them. We are not going to tell you which ones are best. Century Games has published no hero list for Lordrush anywhere in its English documentation, and copying another fan site's tier table would mean passing off someone else's guess as our finding. When we can check it, it goes up.
5. Survivors are an economy, not decoration
Survivors are assigned as workers, hunters and cooks, and the publisher states that their condition feeds back into productivity. So food stock and stability are not a side system — they are your growth rate.
6. Decrees are the part with no Kingshot equivalent
Issuing decrees — setting the rules of a settlement that is short on resources and under external threat — is the one headline feature with no obvious counterpart in Century Games' other titles. It is also the one we can say least about, which is exactly why it is on our list to verify.
7. Alliance, then competition
You join or found an alliance, share resources and coordinate defence, and from there compete with other lords for score and rare rewards. The alliance content whose existence we have confirmed in Century Games’ English help centre for Lordrush is already written up here: Bear Hunt, Alliance Mobilization, Alliance Championship and Outposts and Sanctuaries. Before any of them, though, read what your Town Center level unlocks — most of these events will not let you in until it is high enough.
