Alliance Duel points — why your numbers do not match anyone else's

Points are awarded when an action starts, not when you collect it — training units and Legendary Secret Tasks both pay on start. Only packs that contain Diamonds score. There is no cap on personal points, but the reward chests stop at the highest requirement, and chests 4-6 and 7-9 need [Advanced Rewards] and [Super Bonus] research from Tech Center Level 13. That research is why every published points table is wrong for somebody.

The reason no two players agree on Alliance Duel point values: the values are not the same for two players. Alliance Duel tech modifies them, and the tech is individual. Any table you find online is a screenshot of whoever wrote it. What is universal is the set of rules below.

Points land on start, not on collect

Two of the most common "my points did not go up" reports have the same cause:

  • Training units — points are granted the moment training begins. Collecting the finished units adds nothing.
  • Legendary (orange) Secret Tasks — points are granted when the task starts, not on completion and not on collection.

So a queue you started on Sunday night pays into Sunday, not into Monday. If you are stockpiling for a specific day, stockpile the resources, and press start on the day you want the score.

Packs only count if they contain Diamonds

Bought a pack and watched the bar not move? First Fun's rule is that only packs containing Diamonds contribute to Alliance Duel score. A pack of speedups or resources with no Diamonds in it scores zero, however expensive it was.

What counts on the day it counts

  • Thursday, [Train Heroes] — using [Elite Recruitment Tickets] 100 times grants points, so a 100-pull banked for Thursday is a real strategy rather than a rumour.
  • Saturday — you score for light injuries, heavy injuries and kills. You do not need to wipe a unit to be paid for hitting it, which changes how you pick targets late in the day.
  • Drone Component Chests — Level 6 and Level 7 chests only appear during special events, so if you have never seen one, nothing is broken. Score that day with the lower-level chests you actually have.

No cap on points — but a cap on chests

There is no limit on how many Alliance Duel points you can personally earn. The individual reward chests, however, stop unlocking once you pass the highest requirement, so past that line you are scoring for the alliance and for ranking, not for yourself.

Unlocking more chests is a research problem, not a scoring problem:

ChestsRequires
1-3available by default
4-6[Advanced Rewards] research
7-9[Super Bonus] research

Both live in [Tech Center] → [Alliance Duel], and the whole Alliance Duel tech tree unlocks at Tech Center Level 13. First Fun has also named the tech coming after Season 1's offseason: [Incentive - Intercity Trade], [Incentive - Secret Mobile Squad], [Incentive - Survivor Recruit] and [Incentive - Duel Master II].

Changing alliances mid-event

Joining a new alliance means your points start counting the day after you join. If you switch during a duel, your personal points stay with you and keep accumulating toward your own chests — but they stop contributing to your old alliance and reset to zero for the new one. And leaving before Sunday's rewards are actually settled costs you them: the rewards are not handed out the instant the reset hits, so collect first, then leave.

Turning the score bar off

If the VS bar across your screen is more distraction than motivation: [Profile] → [Settings] → [General Settings] and disable [Alliance Duel Score Reminder].

One last thing worth repeating, because it is the most common misconception about the whole event: League ranking depends only on total wins across the four League matches. Your weekly points do not feed into it.
