Warzone Duel is the largest fight in Last War, and it is the one where players most often do everything right and still collect nothing — because the reward condition has two halves and almost every summary only mentions one.
The shape of the tournament
Servers are drawn into brackets of 4 or 8, and a bracket runs for 2 or 3 weeks. Within each week, Monday to Friday is a points competition for the Right to Invade; Saturday is the Capitol War itself. Final standings are decided by number of victories, with ties broken in favour of whoever won earlier.
| Bracket | Week 1 | Week 2 | Week 3 |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4 servers | winner and loser brackets decided | winner bracket → 1st-2nd; loser bracket → 3rd-4th | — |
| 8 servers | splits into a 1-4 group and a 5-8 group | decides 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8 | final battles confirm every ranking |
Saturday: the Capitol, four cannons and a zone where shields do not work
The Capitol is surrounded by four cannons — East, West, South and North. Capture one and it does two jobs at once: it automatically fires on the enemy Capitol, killing garrisoned units, and it accelerates your capture progress while you hold the Capitol. Taking cannons first is not a side objective; it is the efficient route to the objective.
Around the Capitol sits the Contaminated Zone, and two things happen inside it. Marching is drastically slowed — so troops committed there are committed for a long time — and shields cannot be activated. There is no emergency exit from a bad position in the Contaminated Zone. Send what you are willing to lose.
The attacker wins by pushing Capitol progress to 100%. If they do not get there, the defender wins by default. First Fun's own defensive advice is unglamorous and correct: surround the Capitol one or two days before the battle, so the attacker has to fight through you before they reach the zone.
The reward condition that catches everyone
Warzone Winning Streak Rewards require both of the following:
- your warzone wins by occupying the enemy Capitol, and
- your personal contribution reaches at least 50,000.
Either alone pays nothing. A crushing warzone victory you watched from your base is worth zero streak rewards, and so is 200,000 personal contribution in a losing week. If your warzone looks likely to win, the 50,000 is the single most valuable number on your screen — check it before Saturday ends, not after.
Separately from the streak rewards, there are 9 Capitole Reward Chests — that is First Fun's spelling in its English article, and we leave it as published rather than tidying it into something the client may not say.
