Two questions dominate Alliance Championship: "why is there no entry button?" and "why did I get nothing?" Century Games answers both directly, and the second answer contains a rule that quietly changes how you should play the match.
1. Entry is gated twice — on you, then on your alliance
| Gate | Requirement |
|---|---|
| You | Alliance Championship requires you to reach Furnace Lv. 10 and to be in an alliance. |
| Your alliance | You must be part of an Alliance · your Furnace must reach Lv. 10 · at least 10 Alliance members must also register. |
That last line is the one that bites. You can satisfy every personal requirement and still see nothing happen, because fewer than ten of your members registered. Small and quiet alliances read this as a bug; it is a headcount. If your alliance keeps missing this event, the fix is a pinned registration reminder during sign-ups, not a support ticket.
2. Two reward tracks — and surviving pays
| Track | How it pays (publisher’s wording) |
|---|---|
| KO Rewards — Grade 1 | Earned when you defeat 1 enemy team. |
| KO Rewards — Grade 2 | Earned when you defeat 2 enemy teams. Players who are not defeated automatically qualify for the Grade 2 reward. |
| Alliance-wide | You receive rewards based on your Alliance’s tier. |
The middle row is the most valuable sentence in the whole event. You do not have to win to collect the top KO reward — you have to survive. That inverts the usual instinct: in a match you are clearly losing, throwing your squad into a hopeless fight is the worst available play, because a squad that never dies banks Grade 2 anyway. Preserve the squad.
The third row is worth stating plainly too, because it disappoints people every season: the alliance-wide payout tracks your alliance’s tier, not your personal scoreline. No amount of individual heroics moves it.
3. Squad Power is not a formula you can audit
Asked how Squad Power is calculated, Century Games says only that Squad Power is derived from a special formula based on your Hero Power and Troop Level. The formula itself has never been published.
So treat the number as a rough sorting key, not a prediction. If you want the mechanics that actually decide these fights, we set them out in how battles resolve and why you lose fights against lower power.
4. What to do this season
Get the Furnace to Lv. 10 first — nothing else matters until then. During sign-ups, count registrations and make sure your alliance clears ten. In the matches themselves, play to keep squads alive rather than to force trades, because survival alone delivers the Grade 2 KO Reward. And do not judge a matchup on the Squad Power number.
