Flamedragon Tyrant — the weekly clock, and where your troops actually die

Alliance Sign-Up is Mon–Tue, Combatant Dispatch Wed–Thu, and the battlefield opens Sunday 11:00 UTC with the Palace fight running 12:00–18:00 UTC. Attacking the Flamedragon Palace and the Aeries only injures your troops; attacking other governors kills them. Each qualifying alliance sends 60 members.

Flamedragon Tyrant is an alliance battlefield with a fixed weekly clock, and almost every avoidable loss in it comes from one of two things: missing a phase deadline, or attacking the wrong target and burning real troops. Both are answered outright in Century Games' English help centre, quoted below.

The weekly clock

1. Flamedragon Tyrant is an alliance-based battlefield gameplay.

2. Phase-by-Phase Display

Event Preview: Available one week before the Event begins. Not shown in the Event Calendar.

Alliance Sign-Up: Mon - Tue

Combatant Dispatch: Wed - Thu

Eve of Battle: Fri - Sun

Battlefield Opens

Starting Sunday 11:00 UTC, assigned Governors can enter the battlefield.

From 12:00 to 18:00 UTC on Sunday, Flamedragon Palace enters the Battle Phase.

From 18:00 to 19:00 UTC on Sunday, after the Flamedragon Palace Battle ends, players may remain on the battlefield. No attacks are allowed. Players who retreat will be unable to enter the battlefield again.

Rearmament: From Sunday 18:00 UTC to Tuesday 24:00 UTC of the following week.

Tyrant's Gift: Available Sunday 18:00 UTC to Monday 24:00 UTC and can be opened by the Flamedragon Tyrant.

Getting in — alliance first, then 60 people

1. Alliance: All Alliances within the Zone may register. At the end of the Sign-Up Phase, the top-ranking Alliances in the Zone will qualify for battle. The total number of Alliances eligible to participate depends on the number of Kingdoms within the Zone. The more Kingdoms there are within the Zone, the more Alliances may qualify for battle. Please refer to the event interface for the exact number.

2. Personal: If your Alliance qualifies at the end of the Sign-Up Phase, you may apply to participate within the Alliance during the Combatant Dispatch Phase. Applying for participation requires meeting the Town Center Level requirement. Requirements may vary by Zone.
Signing up for Flamedragon Tyrant
For Alliances that qualify, R4/R5s can designate 60 eligible members from the Alliance to enter the battlefield.
How many Alliance members can each Alliance assign to the Flamedragon battlefield?
1. Confirm whether your Alliance meets the battle eligibility requirements.

2. Confirm whether you joined your current Alliance after the Sign-Up Phase ended.

3. Confirm whether you were selected as a Combatant.

4. Confirm whether battle eligibility has been cancelled by Alliance management.
Why can't I participate in Flamedragon Tyrant?

Point two is the one that catches recruits: joining the alliance after Sign-Up closed disqualifies you for that week, no matter how strong you are. If you are recruiting for this event, recruit before Tuesday.

Kingdoms with similar Progress will be matched to the same Zone in the Flamedragon Tyrant Event. Your Kingdom's progress is evaluated based on War Academy Tech, Truegold Building Levels, Hero Generation, Governor Gear/Charms, and Pet Level.

Where your troops actually die

Attacking the Flamedragon Palace and Aeries will only result in Injured soldiers. Attacking other Governors will result in dead soldiers. Please double-check your attack target.
Why are soldiers killed during attacks on the Flamedragon Palace and Aeries?
During battle, Governors use their own Soldiers, and Infirmary Capacity has no limit. However, healing Injured Soldiers still requires the regular consumption of time and resources.
Why do I lose so many resources after the Tyrant event ends?
TargetResult
Flamedragon Palace, AeriesInjured only — Infirmary, unlimited capacity
Other governorsDead troops

This is the single most expensive rule in the mode. Structures cost you nothing permanent; players cost you troops for good. And even the “free” side is not free after the event — the Infirmary takes no limit, but healing still spends time and resources, which is why governors come out of a Tyrant week wondering where their resources went.

Squad Power mainly derives from the power of Governor Gear, Governor Charm, Hero Gear, Battle Tech, and Pet.
How is Squad Power in Flamedragon Tyrant derived?
King/High King Titles and Stats, Outpost Stats, Pet Stats, VIP Stats, Personal Tech, Alliance Tech, Skin Bonuses, Town Buffs, Pet Skill Bonuses, and King Skill Bonuses all take effect as normal on the Flamedragon Battlefield.
Effects of Bonuses in Flamedragon Battlefield

Nothing is stripped on this battlefield. Every stat line you normally carry — titles, outposts, pet, VIP, tech, skins, town buffs — applies, so a King title handed out before Sunday is a real contribution.

Pyrocrystals and Alliance Crystal Skills

Alliance Leaders can use Pyrocrystals to cast Crystal Skills, providing powerful support to Alliance Members on the battlefield.
What are Pyrocrystals?
Alliance Pyrocrystals can be obtained by defeating Dragonborn Escorts or by gathering Pyrocrystals from mines.
How do I get Pyrocrystals?
Enter the battlefield → Tap the "Alliance Crystal Skills" button → Select a skill → Use Pyrocrystals to activate it. Only R4/R5 members of an Alliance participating in the battle can perform this action.
How do I use Alliance Crystal Skills? Who has permission?
First Refresh: 15 minutes after the Flamedragon Palace opens for battle.

Subsequent Refreshes: Every 30 minutes until the Flamedragon Palace Battle ends.

Refresh Zone: Border Regions only.
What is the refresh time and rules for gathering Pyrocrystals?
First Refresh: When the Flamedragon Palace opens for battle.

Subsequent Refreshes: Every 30 minutes until the Flamedragon Palace Battle ends.

Refresh Zone: Random locations in the Border Regions. No refreshes occur in the Magma Sanctum.
What are the refresh rules for Dragonborn Escorts?
You can obtain Flamedragon Battlefield Personal Points and Pyrocrystals. Attacks do not spend Stamina, but it occupies a March Queue.
What rewards are granted for killing Dragonborn Escorts? Does this spend Stamina?

Both Pyrocrystal sources sit in the Border Regions, and both refresh on a 30-minute cycle. That gives an alliance a rhythm worth assigning: a standing group of gatherers and escort-hunters in the border, feeding crystals to the R4/R5s who cast the skills, while the main force fights over the Palace. Escort kills cost no Stamina — only a March Queue — so they are close to free income.

Earn Dragonclaw Marks by completing Blazing Trail Missions. They can be spent on Tyrant Predictions and exchanged for items in the Prediction Shop.
What is Dragonclaw Mark?

What R4 and R5 should run every week

  1. Register Monday or Tuesday. Sign-Up closes Tuesday, and anyone who joins the alliance afterwards is locked out for the week.
  2. Designate all 60 during Combatant Dispatch, and check the Town Center Level requirement for your Zone.
  3. Brief the targeting rule before Sunday: Palace and Aeries injure, governors kill.
  4. Assign a border crew for Pyrocrystal mines and Dragonborn Escorts on the 30-minute refresh.
  5. Nobody retreats between 18:00 and 19:00 UTC — that exit is one-way.
