Swordland Summit League — the seven-week clock, and why sign-up week decides it

The League is a seven-week calendar, and it locks your Combatant and Substitute lists the moment Sign-Up closes — nothing can be changed for the rest of it. A Zone needs at least 16 Legions to run at all, and matchmaking is calculated from your top 20 governors by Squad Power only, so every slot below that is free firepower.

Swordland Summit League is the expanded version of Swordland Showdown, and once it starts it occupies seven weeks. The decisive part is not the fighting — it is sign-up week, because the roster locks permanently when the Sign-Up Phase ends. Everything below is Century Games' own English help centre.

It does not run at all below 16 Legions

Swordland Summit League is an upgraded version of Swordland Showdown. The League admits up to the top 192 registered Legions, then divides qualified Legions into up to three Tiers for separate competition. A Zone needs at least 16 registered Legions to hold the League. Legions compete through head-to-head Qualifiers, Points Battles, and Championship matches to decide the strongest Legion in the Zone. The champion, runner-up, and third-place Legions will be recorded in the Hall of Honor.
What is Swordland Summit League?
The server will randomly assign registered League Legions into groups based on Kingdoms with similar development progress.
How are Zones divided in Swordland Summit League?

You do not choose your Zone. Kingdoms of similar progress get grouped, and the number of Legions that register inside that group decides how many Tiers open.

Tiers are cut in blocks of 64 by Legion Squad Power

The server will assign Tiers based on the number of registered Legions in the Zone and their Legion Squad Power ranking:

1. 127 or fewer Legions register: the top 64 will enter the Royal Tier League.

2. 128-191 Legions register: the top 64 will enter the Royal Tier League, and ranks 65-128 will enter the Master Tier League.

3. 192 Legions register: the top 64 will enter the Royal Tier League, ranks 65-128 will enter the Master Tier League, and ranks 129-192 will enter the Diamond Tier League.

128–1911st–64th65th–128th
1921st–64th65th–128th129th–192nd

Note what the cut-off actually means for a mid-strength Legion: being ranked 65th in a 200-Legion Zone puts you in Master, not Royal. Registering a weaker second Legion does not dilute your first one's placement — each Legion is ranked on its own Squad Power.

Matchmaking only counts your top 20

Legion matchups are determined by Matchmaking Points, which are calculated based on the Squad Power of the top 20 registered Governors. The main sources of Squad Power are Governor Gear, Hero Gear, and Battle Tech Power.
How does Legion matchmaking work in Swordland Summit League?
Alliance Leaders and R4 members select participants. Each Legion can choose up to 30 Combatants and 20 Substitutes. Substitutes can enter the battlefield 3 minutes after the battle begins.
How are participants selected for the Swordland Summit League?

Put those two rules together and you get the one piece of free value in this mode. Matchmaking reads 20 governors. The roster holds 30 Combatants plus 20 Substitutes. Everyone you add beyond the top 20 raises your firepower on the field without raising the strength of the opponent you get matched against. Leaving roster slots empty is pure loss.

The 20 Substitutes are not decoration either — they walk in three minutes after the start. Put the squads that have to survive the opening three minutes in the Combatant list, and the follow-up damage in the Substitute list.

The seven weeks, and what locks when

Swordland Summit League has five phases: Preview Phase, League Sign-Up, Part 1, Part 2, and Display Phase.

1. Preview Phase: The preview runs for 2 days on Friday and Saturday, one week before the event starts.

2. League Sign-Up Phase: From Sunday to Friday before the event starts, divided into the Voting Phase, Sign-Up Phase, and Matchmaking Phase.

2.1 Voting Phase: Alliance members can choose from 5 battle time slots in UTC: 02:00 / 07:00 / 12:00 / 14:00 / 19:00. The voting result is not final; it serves only as a reference for alliance management.

2.2 Sign-Up Phase: Sign-up runs from Tuesday to Thursday during the first week after the event opens.

2.3 Matchmaking Phase: Matchmaking takes place on Friday of the first week after the event opens.

3. Part 1: Part 1 runs from Saturday of Week 1 to Sunday of Week 4. It includes 4 Qualifier rounds and the first 3 Points Battle rounds.

4. Part 2: Part 2 runs from Monday of Week 5 to Sunday of Week 6. It includes 3 Championship rounds and the last 2 Points Battle rounds.

5. Display Phase: The Display Phase runs from Monday to Sunday of Week 7.
How does Swordland Summit League work?

The same FAQ carries the roster rules, and these are the ones that end seasons early:

Alliance Leaders and R4s can register for up to 2 Legions per alliance.

Legion 2 unlocks when the alliance reaches Lv. 6 or higher and alliance members reach 40 total logins during the first week after the event opens.

Governors must have a Town Center of Lv. 16 or higher and must not have been offline for more than 5 days before being assigned.

Only Combatants and Substitutes can enter the Swordland Summit League battlefield. The Combatant and Substitute lists lock when the Sign-Up Phase ends and cannot be changed for the rest of the League.

An alliance cannot disband between the end of the Sign-Up Phase and the end of the League if any of its Legions have qualified.

Participating alliances must choose 3 of the 5 battle time slots. Battle time slots lock when the Sign-Up Phase ends and cannot be changed for the rest of the League.
How does Swordland Summit League work?

Three of those are worth reading twice. Town Center Lv. 16 and no more than 5 days offline are hard filters — a governor who fails either one cannot be assigned at all, and you will not find out at a convenient moment. Rosters and time slots lock at the end of Sign-Up and stay locked for seven weeks. And Legion 2 is conditional: alliance Lv. 6 plus 40 total member logins in the first week, so a quiet alliance silently loses half its capacity.

Qualifiers, Points Battles, Championship

The Qualifier has 4 rounds:

Qualifier Round 1 (Saturday to Sunday of Week 1)
Qualifier Round 2 (Monday to Sunday of Week 2)
Qualifier Round 3 (Monday to Sunday of Week 3)
Qualifier Round 4 (Monday to Sunday of Week 4)

Promotion Rules: Every 16 participating Legions form 1 group, for a total of 4 groups. The winning Legion in each group advances to the next round, while the losing Legion is eliminated. After 4 rounds, the 1st-place Legion from each group advances to the Championship.
What are the Qualifier schedule and promotion rules?
Legions that lose in the Qualifier will enter Points Battle and continue competing. Points Battle has 5 rounds in total.

1. Points Battle Round 1 (Sunday of Week 2)
2. Points Battle Round 2 (Sunday of Week 3)
3. Points Battle Round 3 (Sunday of Week 4)
4. Points Battle Round 4 (Sunday of Week 5)
5. Points Battle Round 5 (Friday of Week 6)
How does Points Battle work in Swordland Summit League?

Losing a Qualifier is not the end of your season. You drop into Points Battle and keep playing for five more rounds, which is where most Legions actually earn their rewards.

The Championship Phase has 3 rounds and runs from Monday of Week 5 after the event starts through Sunday of Week 6. A Mythic Group Legion stays in the Mythic Group after a win and moves to the Elite Group after a loss. An Elite Group Legion stays in the Elite Group after a win and is eliminated after a loss. The top Mythic Group Legion and top Elite Group Legion compete for the League championship.
What is the schedule for the Championship Phase?
The Legion with more [Alliance Relic Points] at the end of the battle wins.
How is the winner of a single Swordland Summit League match decided?

A single match is decided on Alliance Relic Points, not on kills. Trading troops in a corner of the map while the other side banks relic points is how strong Legions lose matches they should win.

Battlefield rules — troops do not die here

1. Troops in the battlefield won't suffer any casualties. Injured troops will be sent to the Infirmary. The Infirmary has no capacity limit. Healing your troops doesn't cost any resources, but you can use Speedups to reduce the healing time. All your injured troops will be healed when you leave the battlefield.

2. Buildings will burn much faster within the battlefield. If you fail to defend your Town and extinguish the fire in time, your Town will be moved to the Safe Zone.

3. Governors inside the Swordland Summit League battlefield cannot enter Swordland Showdown, Eternity's Reach, Tri-Alliance Clash, or Flamedragon Tyrant battlefields. They must leave the League battlefield before entering another battlefield.

4. Pet Skills: The cooldowns of "battle-type" Pet Skills for Combatants and Substitutes in participating Legions reset automatically at UTC 00:00 on each round's match day and again at UTC 00:00 the following day.

5. Swordland Summit League applies Battle Tech research, Alliance Tech, VIP bonuses, Governor Gear, Hero Gear, Town Boost items, Skins, Pet Skills, Kingdom titles, Master bonuses, and more.

6. Governors from Kingdoms where the League event is active can watch matches from all Zones.

7. Leaving the battlefield during battle triggers a cooldown. You can return after 12 minutes.
Swordland Summit League Battlefield Rules

Two consequences people miss. First, since no troops die and healing is free, holding troops back is worth nothing here — commit everything. Second, that 12-minute cooldown means an accidental exit removes you from the match for a quarter of an hour, and a scheduled Pet Skill reset at UTC 00:00 is worth planning your engagements around.

No, they do not stack.

What to settle before Sign-Up closes

  1. Filter the roster first. Town Center Lv. 16 or higher, not offline more than 5 days. Anyone failing either cannot be assigned.
  2. Fill all 50 slots. Matchmaking reads only your top 20 — slots 21 to 50 are free firepower.
  3. Unlock Legion 2 in week one if you want it: alliance Lv. 6 and 40 total member logins.
  4. Agree the 3 time slots deliberately. They lock for seven weeks.
  5. Brief the Legion that a match is won on Alliance Relic Points, not on kills.
