🏆 Hero tier list
This is not a raw power ranking, and you should distrust any Kingshot tier list that claims to be one. Which hero generations exist on your server depends on how old your Kingdom is, so a list built on a 300-day Kingdom is actively misleading on a 30-day one. What follows is an investment order for a free-to-play Governor — who to spend shards on next — which does transfer between servers.
| Hero | Grade & type | Tier | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| Amadeus | Gen 1 · Infantry | S+ | Top-end Conquest and rally hero, and the season hero of the first Hall of Governors cycles. Owning him applies his star bonus permanently even if you never field him. |
| Helga | Gen 1 · Infantry | S+ | Bear Hunt rally leader. With her exclusive weapon at +10 she stays useful for the life of the account. |
| Jabel | Gen 1 · Cavalry | S+ | Grows on her own over time. Do not feed her universal Legendary shards — she reaches 5 stars without them. |
| Zoe | Gen 2 · Infantry | S+ | The free-to-play answer at Gen 2. Worth pushing all the way to 5 stars. |
| Marlin | Gen 2 · Archer | S+ | Stop at 3–4 stars and use her for Arena and monster clearing. A forced 5 star is wasted once the Gen 4 Archer arrives. |
| Alcar | Gen 4 · Infantry | S+ | |
| Vivian | Gen 5 · Archer | S+ | Where a free-to-play account should dump every universal Legendary shard it has saved. Rally hero. |
| Triton | Gen 6 | S+ | |
| Hilde | Gen 2 · Cavalry | S | Season hero of the 4th–5th Hall of Governors cycles. |
| Margot | Gen 4 | S | |
| Thrud | Gen 5 | S | |
| Yang | Gen 6 | S | |
| Sophia | Gen 6 | S | |
| Howard | Gen 1 · Infantry | A | Core free-to-play line-up — the single tank. |
| Quinn | Gen 1 | A | Stand-in when you do not have Yaenwoo. |
| Eric | Gen 3 · Infantry | A | Strong, but realistically a spender's hero. |
| Jaeger | Gen 3 · Archer | A | Strong, but realistically a spender's hero. |
| Petra | Gen 3 · Cavalry | A | Your first rally-leading hero and the one that carries Bear Hunt for months. 5 stars if you can, 4 at minimum. |
| Rosa | Gen 4 · Archer | A | The Gen 4 Archer a free-to-play account takes to cover the gap Marlin leaves. |
| Long Fei | Gen 5 | A | |
| Yaenwoo | Gen 1 | B | Core free-to-play line-up — first priority for Epic universal shards. |
| Amane | Gen 1 | B | Rally joiner. |
| Saul | Gen 1 · Archer | B | Construction speed skill. Worth 3 stars early, then leave him behind once Gen 2 arrives. |
| Diana | Gen 1 | B | Monster hunting and stamina efficiency. |
| Chenko | Gen 1 · Infantry | B | Core free-to-play line-up — first priority for skill mastery. |
| Seth | Gen 1 | C | |
| Olive | Gen 1 · Gathering | C | Gathering hero. Early free-to-play only. |
| Gordon | Gen 1 | C | Low-generation rally joiner for free-to-play accounts. |
| Edwin | Gen 1 · Gathering | C | Gathering hero. Early free-to-play only. |
| Forrest | Gen 1 · Gathering | C | Gathering hero. Early free-to-play only. |
| Fahd | Gen 1 | C | Early free-to-play filler. |
Troop type names — Infantry, Cavalry, Archer — are verbatim from Century Games' own English Combat FAQ, and hero names are the ones Century Games uses in its English materials. The three Gathering heroes are listed by role instead of troop type because they never fight: their job is resource output, and shards spent on them add nothing to your rally. Generation numbers (Gen 1, Gen 2 …) are a player convention, not a publisher label.
